El Quemado is owned by Ivan Solis. He has devoted his whole life to coffee and he enjoys teaching the next generation to continue their family tradition of coffee production. The farm is located at Los Santos with a size of 15 hectares, sitting at an altitude of 1,800 masl.
Beans are white honey processed where the cherries go through a machine that removes 85-90% of the mucilage before they are left on raised beds to dry in the sun for 12-15 days. The beans will end up looking lighter and brighter.
