With a fragrance reminiscent of vanilla and a flavour that transports you straight to Southeast Asia, Mathieu Teisseire’s Pandan Syrup is a taste of the exotic within everyday reach.
Known as annapurna in India and rampé in Sri Lanka, pandan is an aromatic plant that has been cultivated since ancient times. Its leaves are widely used, fresh or dried, in cooking and drinks – and even as a natural air freshener. When distilled into an essence and added as an extract, pandan gives a unique sensorial experience to desserts, ice cream, coffees and teas. It pairs particularly well with coconut.
Add a dash to flavour your drink, then adjust to your taste. We prefer to add 1 splash of syrup to 7 of drink for ours.
